A Full Day of Discover Scuba Diving with Guests from Germany and Japan
We had extremely heavy rain in Kushimoto this morning, but the weather gradually improved, and we even had some sunshine in the afternoon.
Today, we welcomed three groups of guests for Discover Scuba Diving!
In the morning, we went diving with our Japanese guests.
For both groups, certified divers introduced their friends to us and joined them for the dive.
It always makes us really happy when certified divers bring their non-diver friends to experience scuba diving with us (^^)

One of the popular fish during Discover Scuba Diving is this cute anemonefish, about 5 cm in size.
It is a familiar fish that many people have seen in Disney movies or aquarium shops, so we usually get a great reaction when we introduce it underwater.
It has been staying here for quite a while and seems to have become very comfortable around divers. These days, it hardly hides at all and gives us plenty of opportunities to watch it up close!!
The anemone has become a little pale because of the high water temperatures during the summer...
But it makes a beautiful background for underwater photos. Our certified diver was completely focused on taking pictures.
Meanwhile, the Discover Scuba Diving guest was watching nearby.
The guest was doing so well that you would never guess it was their first Discover Scuba Diving experience (^^;)
In the afternoon, we welcomed a guest from Germany who was visiting Japan on a honeymoon.
This year, we have also had many guests from overseas joining our Discover Scuba Diving experiences.
The guest preferred not to have photos posted online, so unfortunately we cannot share any guest photos on the blog. However, we were able to observe various marine life, including Big blue octopus and Bluespotted stingray, and it looked like the guest really enjoyed the experience (^^)
We are very happy that they chose to spend some of their precious honeymoon time enjoying Discover Scuba Diving here in Kushimoto♪
Maybe diving in Kushimoto is gradually becoming better known among international visitors??
In the shallow Pavona Lamarck area, Whitetail dascyllus have been staying with us for quite a while.
Just like the Anemonefish, they have become very comfortable around divers!!!
There are also many southern species around the beach right now, including juvenile yellow boxfish.
Some people may hesitate when they hear that our Discover Scuba Diving experience is from the beach, but there is plenty of marine life to discover here!!
Discover Scuba Diving is still possible in a wetsuit through October!!
From November, we also offer Discover Scuba Diving in drysuits, so you can stay more comfortable in the cooler water!!
Whether you want to try scuba diving for the first time or join your certified diver friends or family members underwater, you are very welcome!!
