Our Story
Blessed by the warm Kuroshio Current, the waters of Kushimoto offer ever-changing underwater scenery that never ceases to amaze.
Whether it’s your first dive or your 1,000th, there is always something new to discover here.
Aqua Vista was founded with a simple mission: to provide safe, comfortable, and truly memorable diving experiences for global travelers.
We pride ourselves on our small-group approach and Japanese hospitality (Omotenashi), ensuring every guest receives the attention they deserve.

I began diving at the age of 18. After graduating from university,
I worked in the insurance industry before being drawn back to the ocean by the charm of Kushimoto.
I then spent 11 years working at a local diving service, gaining extensive knowledge of
Kushimoto’s seasonal conditions and marine environment.
In April 2025, I established Aqua Vista Kushimoto with the goal of introducing the wonders of
Kushimoto’s sea to divers from Japan and around the world.
I provide guiding and instruction in English and warmly welcome international divers of all backgrounds.
I look forward to diving with you in the beautiful waters of Kushimoto.
Qualifications
- Licensed Diver / PADI Instructor
- First-Class Small Vessel Operator
- Second-Class Maritime Special Radio Operator
Member of: Kushimoto Diving Association, Underwater Photo Contest Executive Committee.

- By Train（Using shinkansen＆Special limited express Kuroshio) : Approx 7hour ( Tokyo sta→Shin-Osaka sta→Kushimoto）
From Kansai Int'l Airport (KIX)
- By Car :Approx. 2.5 hours Please enter our address into your car navigation system.
- By Train :Approx. 3 hours Kansai Airport Station → Hineno Station → Kushimoto Station
- Tip : We recommend taking the JR Kuroshio Limited Express from Hineno Station for a direct and comfortable journey.
From Osaka & Kyoto
- From Osaka : Approx. 3.5 hours by car or train (via Tennoji Station)
