Schedule / How the Day Works (Fun Diving)

  • Please arrive at the shop about 60 minutes before your first dive.
  • After check-in, paperwork, and equipment preparation, we head to the dive site.
  • Dives are conducted individually with breaks back at the shop.
  • Lunch and rest time are scheduled between dives when applicable.
  • Schedules may vary depending on season, weather, sea conditions, and number of dives.
  • Exact meeting time will be confirmed after booking.

River Diving

- Giant Salamander Experience

A rare freshwater diving experience in the Koza River, home to the Japanese Giant Salamander.
This is a special dive separate from ocean fun diving, with its own schedule and conditions.

Health & Safety / Important Information

Medical Check: All divers must complete the [PADI Medical Participant Questionnaire] in advance. If you answer "YES" to any item, a physician's signature is required to dive.

Flying After Diving: Please ensure at least 18 hours between your last dive and your flight.

Alcohol: Alcohol consumption before or between dives is strictly prohibited.

Age/Health: Participants must be in good physical health. Minors require parental consent.

  • What is the minimum age?
    Divers must be at least 10 years old and medically cleared. Minors require a guardian's signature on all paperwork before entering the water.
  • What if I get seasick?
    We understand seasickness concerns and have solutions. Medication is on hand, and we take breaks between dives at the harbor.
  • How long has it been since your last dive?
    Refresher courses are available for divers returning after time away. We offer full support for those new to drysuit diving as well.
  • Can I bring my own gear?
    Your mask, fins, snorkel, and dive computer are optional. Rental equipment is available if you prefer not to bring your own.
  • Can I reach you by train?
    Yes. We provide station pickups and hotel transfers. Gear delivery is also possible for your convenience.
  • How do I book a dive?
    Use our booking system online or contact us directly. We will confirm your date and time within 24 hours.
  • Do I need a buddy?
    Solo divers are welcome. You will be paired with our guide and other divers in your group.
  • What about group discounts?
    Groups of three or more divers receive ¥1,000 off per person on two or more dives. Perfect for dive clubs and teams.
  • What about motion sickness?
    Each dive returns to harbor for breaks between dives. Motion sickness medication is available if needed.
  • Do you offer night dives?
    Night diving is available for ¥9,900. Guest who join a daytime diving ca participate in night diving for ¥7,500. It is an unforgettable way to experience Kushimoto's underwater world after dark.
