Schedule / How the Day Works (Fun Diving)
- Please arrive at the shop about 60 minutes before your first dive.
- After check-in, paperwork, and equipment preparation, we head to the dive site.
- We usually return to the shop or harbor between dives for surface intervals and equipment preparation.
- Lunch and rest time are scheduled between dives when applicable.
- Schedules may vary depending on season, weather, sea conditions, and number of dives.
- Exact meeting time will be confirmed after booking.

River Diving
- Giant Salamander Experience
A rare freshwater diving experience in the Koza River, home to the Japanese Giant Salamander.
This is a special dive separate from ocean fun diving, with its own schedule and conditions.

Health & Safety / Important Information
Medical Check: All divers must complete the [PADI Medical Participant Questionnaire] in advance. If you answer "YES" to any item, a physician's signature is required to dive.
Flying After Diving: Please ensure at least 18 hours between your last dive and your flight.
Alcohol: Alcohol consumption before or between dives is strictly prohibited.
Age/Health: Participants must be in good physical health. Minors require parental consent.
Easy Access from Osaka, Kyoto & Kumano Kodo
Kushimoto is easy to reach by train or car from Osaka, Kyoto, and the Kumano Kodo area. We also provide free station pickup for divers.

What is the minimum age?

Divers must be at least 10 years old and medically cleared. Minors require a guardian's signature on all paperwork before entering the water.

What if I get seasick?

If you are concerned about seasickness, please consider taking suitable medication before arrival. We usually return to the harbor or shop between dives.

Can I join if I have not dived recently?

Yes. Refresher support is available for divers returning after a long break. Please tell us your certification level, number of dives, and date of your last dive when booking.

Can I bring my own gear?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own equipment. Rental gear is also available if you prefer to travel light.

Solo divers are welcome. You will be paired with our guide and other divers in your group.

Do you offer night dives?

Night diving is available for ¥9,900. Guests who join a daytime dive can participate for ¥7,500. Night dives are conducted from the beach.
