An International Day with Guests from Japan, Slovenia, and China
We’ve been enjoying beautiful sunny weather and perfectly calm seas here in Kushimoto.
Today was all about the beach, with Discover Scuba Diving and snorkeling throughout the day (^^)
Our guests today came from Japan, Slovenia, and China, making it a truly international day!
Since the second half of September, we’ve been receiving more inquiries from overseas guests, so we’ve been having more and more international days like this.
The tide was low during our morning snorkeling tour, giving us great conditions for exploring the shallow water.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful coral reef!

The backlighting made it pretty difficult to get a good shot... I definitely need more practice taking photos during snorkeling tours (^^;)
We went snorkeling again in the afternoon. It really was a full day of snorkeling!!
In between the snorkeling tours, we split into two groups for Discover Scuba Diving.
Exploring the underwater world for the first time seemed to be a completely new experience for our guests, and they really enjoyed it. Seeing them having so much fun made us very happy too♪
We hope they’ll become certified divers and come back to explore even more of Kushimoto’s underwater world!!

During Discover Scuba Diving, we also came across a rare Narrow-lined puffer!!
I’ve never seen one before (~~;) Sayo’s group found it, so I was pretty jealous～～.
Apparently, it’s a species from warmer southern waters!! We’ve been seeing some unusual species at the beach this year, so you never know what might show up!
Tomorrow marks the start of the weekend.
We have Discover Scuba Diving in the morning, followed by an AOW course, refresher fun diving, and night diving in the afternoon and evening. It’s going to be another action-packed day!!
Thanks to everyone who has booked with us, we are fully booked for the October holiday weekend except for the first day.
