Fun Diving in Kushimoto with Two Teams Today
It was a beautiful sunny day in Kushimoto, with perfectly calm seas and excellent diving conditions.
Today, we split into two teams and enjoyed diving at both offshore and local dive sites in Kushimoto.
Today, I headed offshore with a guest from China who lives in Japan.
At the offshore dive site, we were welcomed by a huge school of Greenfish♪
There was quite a strong current, but the water was beautifully clear.

Just before finishing the dive, we found a Boxer crab.
We have a good chance of finding Boxer crab at some of our offshore dive sites, so if you would like to see one, come and try diving offshore!
They are relatively easy to find at several of the offshore dive sites♪
In the afternoon, we headed to Ando-no-Hana, a seasonal dive site.
It is open for diving until October 19, so if you would like to dive there, please come and visit us soon.
Please also let us know when booking if you would like to dive at Ando-no-Hana.
Ando-no-Hana is well known for its Giant Barrel Sponge.
When we looked into the gaps, we found many Barrel sponge ghost goby.
Today, a Aliaporcellana kikuchii also came into the frame right behind one of them.
It almost looked like it was saying, “That looks like a nice photo!” lol
After that, we found another Bicolour parrotfish, which we have been seeing quite often this year.
It has grown quite a bit, and its orange color is starting to darken, but it still has its cute appearance.
Today's individual was swimming around a lot, so getting a photo was quite challenging (^^;)
On our final dive, we also introduced our guests to a small nudibranch.
Finding at least one nudibranch a day has recently become part of my daily routine, lol.
Today, we found a Caloria indica out for a walk.
I always seem to find them while they are moving around, so what they eat is still uncertain.
I would love to see one actually feeding someday!

The weather has become almost summer-like again, and we have been enjoying some great days for diving.
The water temperature is still in the upper 26°C range, so it is still comfortable to dive in a wetsuit!
Some weekends in October are already fully booked, but we still have availability on many weekdays.
Weekdays are also quieter underwater, making them a great choice if you would like to enjoy a more relaxed dive (^^)
