Welcoming a Japanese Family and a Guest from Israel

We had another beautiful sunny day today.

We’ve been blessed with great weather and sea conditions this weekend (^^)

First thing this morning, we headed out for AOW training with our guest from Israel.

Today’s section was Deep Diving. During the dive, we experienced things such as how colors change underwater and differences in depth gauge readings.

After the training, we enjoyed a little fun diving.

Our guest only recently earned their OW certification, so everything seemed fresh and exciting!!

We showed our guest a tiny Goniobranchus sp.16 , but it seems it was a little too small (^^;)

After that, the Knobsnout parrotfish and the brightly colored Phyllidia ocellata we showed them seemed to make a bigger impression!

It reminded me that when I had just earned my certification, colorful creatures and big fish were probably the ones that left the strongest impression on me too.

After that, we headed out for Discover Scuba Diving with a group of guests from two families.

Several of them had apparently dived in Kushimoto more than 20 years ago, so they were able to enjoy diving in Kushimoto again after a long time.

For the first dive, we focused mainly on getting comfortable underwater.

We observed some cute juvenile Anemonefish and other marine life.

The Anemonefish had disappeared from the beach for a while, but it seems that a new generation is starting to arrive.

We hope they continue to grow!

For our second dive, we headed to a beach with one of Kushimoto’s beautiful coral communities.

Diving in a sea filled with so much coral really makes you feel like you’re scuba diving!

While we were watching some marine life, a Chinese trumpetfish suddenly appeared — a fun little surprise during the dive! We had a great time enjoying two Discover Scuba Dives.

As more southern species appear in Kushimoto during autumn, even Discover Scuba Diving guests can see plenty of colorful fish, while boat fun diving offers the chance to enjoy dense schools of fish!!

October is still a great season to enjoy the sea of Kushimoto. Whether you want to try scuba diving for the first time or enjoy some fun diving, come and experience the autumn sea of Kushimoto with us (^^)/
