Celebrating the First Milestone Dive at Aqua Vista Kushimoto – Congratulations on 800 Dives!
The last weekend of July brought excellent diving conditions to Kushimoto. Air temperatures were high, the water ranged from 25–29°C (77–84°F), and the surface temperature was close to 30°C (86°F).
A pod of dolphins even appeared inside the bay, a wonderful sign of the influence of a branch of the Kuroshio Current. We hope these fantastic conditions continue!
Today, we enjoyed a fun dive with a guest celebrating a very special milestone—the first milestone dive ever celebrated at Aqua Vista Kushimoto.
An incredible 800 dives!
We have been diving together for many years since I started working as a dive guide in Kushimoto, and it was a real pleasure to celebrate this achievement together.
Congratulations once again! We wish you many more amazing dives and
unforgettable underwater adventures.

As summer continues, we are finding more and more marine life.
Following another recent sighting, we discovered a new baby Long nose hawkfish. It was perched on a beautiful Red sea fan, creating a colorful background that photographers are sure to love.
Even in the middle of summer, nudibranchs are still plentiful in Kushimoto. Although there are fewer than in winter, you can still find a wonderful variety if you look carefully.
On our final dive, we found a Thorunna halourga about 1 cm long. It was the perfect size for underwater photography and incredibly cute.
Since the typhoon passed, we have enjoyed sunny weather, warmer water temperatures, and many divers visiting us every day.
Before we knew it, only a few days remain in July.
Kushimoto is now offering beautiful blue water and an amazing variety of marine life.
