Enjoy Coral and Diverse Marine Life on a Beach Snorkeling & Discover Scuba Diving Tour
Under the bright blue summer skies of Kushimoto, we enjoyed a day of snorkeling and discover scuba diving with guests from Germany and Singapore!
In summer, the water temperature in Kushimoto reaches 25–29°C, making it very comfortable to enjoy the ocean in a wetsuit. Even from the beach, you can explore beautiful coral reefs and observe a wide variety of fish, making it a great destination for first-time snorkelers and divers.
We started the morning with a snorkeling tour.
Swimming slowly over Kushimoto’s coral reefs, we spent time observing many different kinds of fish. Before we knew it, an hour had passed while we were completely absorbed in the underwater world.
Our guest from Germany loves the ocean so much that they often change their travel plans whenever there is an opportunity to visit the sea. We were delighted that they enjoyed experiencing Japan’s underwater world.
In the afternoon, we welcomed a guest from Singapore for a discover scuba diving experience.
The original plan was for one dive, but after the first dive they said, “I want to dive more!” and decided to add a second dive.
During the first dive, beginners mainly focus on getting comfortable with breathing underwater and equalizing their ears, so some people feel that the time available to explore is a little short.
If our schedule allows, it is possible to add another dive on the same day. By the second dive, most guests feel much more relaxed in the water, allowing them to spend more time observing marine life and fully enjoying the diving experience.
On the second dive, we focused on fish watching and observed a variety of marine life, including Red Lionfish and Kaikamuri.
We were also lucky enough to find a juvenile Yellow Boxfish, one of the highlights of the summer season!
Every summer, many juvenile fish begin to appear around Kushimoto’s beaches, making the underwater world even more colorful and lively.
We are looking forward to seeing even more tiny marine life in the coming weeks.
We still have some availability during the summer holiday season.
We keep our groups small so that even first-time snorkelers and divers can enjoy the experience comfortably.
We also offer tours in English and provide rental equipment, so if you’re planning a trip to Kushimoto, please feel free to contact us!
