A Special Reunion Dive Day in Kushimoto with International Guests

So Happy to Welcome a Returning Guest Again!

We had a great day of diving in Kushimoto with some sunshine finally breaking through the clouds.

There was a slight west wind, so the surface had a bit of chop, but underwater conditions were very comfortable.
Visibility was good, around 12–15 meters, with no impact from yesterday’s rain.

Today was a full day with both fun diving and a discovery dive.

Our fun diving guest visited us again after their last trip in November. We were honestly so happy to see them back in Kushimoto!

Since many of our guests travel from Europe, we often think it may be a one-time visit. That’s why reconnecting like this really means a lot to us.

During the fun dive, we focused on wide-angle scenes.

It was perfect timing, as the carp streamers (koinobori) had just been installed underwater that day.
Our guest had an Insta360 camera, so hopefully they captured some great shots of this unique seasonal setup!

On the way, we also enjoyed schools of White goat saddle fish, Black spotted snapper, and Banded boarfish, making it a relaxing and scenic dive.

Thank you for joining us for three dives over the past two days!

After the fun diving session, we moved on to a discovery dive.

Interestingly, both discovery diving guests were from Poland!

And honestly, we were surprised—in a good way.

They handled the dive incredibly well. It was hard to believe it was their first time. They mentioned having a strong swimming background, but beyond that, they clearly have a natural talent for diving.

We would love to welcome them back again—next time as certified divers!

Today’s blog is a bit different, focusing more on our divers rather than marine life—but it really shows how enjoyable diving in Kushimoto can be, no matter your experience level.

We have availability on April 29.

Last-minute bookings are very welcome, so feel free to contact us anytime!

We hope to see you in Kushimoto soon.
