Open Water Course in Kushimoto with Guests from Singapore (2-Day Training)

We’ve been having an international week of diving courses!

We started an Open Water course in Kushimoto from yesterday with guests visiting from Singapore.

We also conduct the entire course in English.

Sometimes it can be challenging to explain subtle details, but it’s always rewarding to support new divers on their journey.

Yesterday, the weather forecast predicted heavy rain and strong winds in the afternoon, so we finished the training in the morning.

Today, we completed a full day of training and wrapped it up with a final boat dive.

Our guest picked up the skills very quickly, which made the course go smoothly.
Compass navigation was especially impressive—they understood it right away and swam straight with great control.

Since one of their friends is already a certified diver, they also helped a bit during the diver towing exercise.

By the way, when we used an action camera on land, the footage somehow looked like an oil painting… but yes, that was a real scene!

For the final dive, we went out by boat to complete the course.
A school of Black Spotted snapper  was looking great as usual, and they enjoyed the rich marine life of Kushimoto.

We took a group photo at the end… but unfortunately, it was taken on the guest’s camera, so we don’t have a copy (mistake on our side…).
But most importantly—congratulations on successfully earning your Open Water certification!

Tomorrow, we’ll go for fun dives with the newly certified diver and their friend.

Looking forward to exploring more of the ocean together.
